My kids make me laugh!

Today in the car:

Emma: "Who is singing this song?"
Me: "The Black Eyed Peas."
Emma: "You're making me hungry."

Yesterday at the dinner table:

Emma: "I hope we see a dolphin at the beach."
Gavin: "I hope we see a shark."
Emma: "Sharks will eat you Gavin."
Gavin: "Oh."

I LOVE MY KIDS!!

Cow Appreciation Day

Cute homemade cow outfits = free meals at Chick-Fil-A! So we threw these outfits together last minute and headed over to claim our free meals. The kids played with all the other little cows and we got some great ideas for next year! Rubber glove udders?!!

4th of July 2009

Although we've lived in PTC for 3 years this was my first year to celebrate July 4th. Bryan and the kids enjoyed the parade and fireworks last year while I was in Mississippi. It's hard to believe we fit in everything we did in one day! We had decorated our golf cart a couple of days before and were very excited to take it to the parade. Unfortunately, we got everything loaded up and ready to go and lo and behold, we had a flat tire! So we jumped in the car and headed to the parade.

I made candy catchers for the kids and we had face paint crayons to decorate everyone's face with flags, flowers and smiley faces! We had a great time with our friends and the kids got lots of goodies. Afterwards, we headed over to Kate's house for a BBQ with our Connection Group, friends and family. Lots of wonderful food and the kids wore themselves out! It was definitely time to take a little rest. We aired our golf cart tire when we got home and thankfully it stayed aired up! Very strange?! So we were off to First Baptist Church for another BBQ and fireworks. We met up with everyone and enjoyed dinner and the fireworks display. It was WAY past bedtime and the kids were delirious!!

We were up this morning for church and are exhausted! We'll probably be in bed very early tonight!
